Embracing passions and relationships.™ What types of books do I write, you're wondering, huh? Excellent deduction, but...
Wrong!!! Who's he? Nicholas Sparks?
You're probably thinking that this West Point graduate who's a decorated Army veteran probably writes Tom Clancy-type novels that involve land warfare. Ever read "The Bridges of Madison County"? I have too many times to count. How about the books of Erich Segal? He wrote the novel "Love Story" that became a major box office movie success around 1970. I've read every word of every book he ever wrot
e. His books go on to become big Hollywood money makers, too, for example: "The Notebook," "Message in a Bottle," "Nights in Rodanthe," and others. I am continuously reading and re-reading his pages. So, am I trying to tell you that I'm a romance novelist? My tales aren't the classic bodice ripping, heaving bosom types populated with dudes who look like Fabio. I do, however, write about the dramas of the heart: attraction, infidelity, lust, family versus career, dying parents, and so much more. My specific literary category is Contemporary Women's Fiction, but this is the type of book that I, a former paratrooper, love to read for pleasure. "Game Over" is the first tale that I must share. Travis and Siobhan first met as toddlers in the neighborhood sandbox. She never missed any of his football games from high school through college to the NFL until a veritable gr***de dropped into their relationship, renting apart their trust, their family, and his ability to play football at his superstar level.
