Things begin so harmlessly and innocent!—Called together by the will of a higher power, Californien musician Austin Settle, and the Austrian guitarist, Peter Kment meet in Vienna, and without a plan or intention begin jamming it out freestyle with a standup bass and a guitar....this was 2005—The 4 Evas is still years away from it’s conception, but one things is clear—music demands to be made! Afte
r a successful debut in 2008 („The 4 Evas“ office4music) The 4 Evas, now a power trio with bass (Austin Settle), guitar (Peter Kment) and drums hit the road to play concerts and weld the band together. A mass of song material is composed and recorded, and in 2009 the band releases a single, „Japan Sex“ (office4music) as a preview of things to come. Internal band conflicts and changing musical perspectives lead to the departure of drummer Albert Krebs in 2010 and a new chapter for The 4 Evas begins. Old material is discarded and replaced with a battery of new songs, inspired by the early 90’s West Coast Alternative Rock scene, it’s energy, meaning, and honesty. Beginning Fall of 2010 the band sets up shop at their home studio in Austria and begin tracking for the long anticipated debut LP. At the end of 2011 the album is tracked, mixed and mastered and the long wait is over.
„Break Out“ (VÖ 30.01.2012 finestnoise) is a showcase for the trio’s coming of musical age and the completion of a long burning vision. Following the release will be a promotion tour throughout Europe, which will only underscore the power and intensity of The 4 Evas as an internationally relevant live act. In the year the Maya Calendar prophesies a major world shift, The 4 Evas are poised to change right along with it.
