Madi Laughlin teams up with Joey Henry’s Dirty Sunshine Club to bring you another Sunday funday, this time featuring Kam Kozart and Swamp Rats (FL)!

Swamp Rats are a Florida based folk/bluegrass outfit. Though it’s not quite bluegrass their music is heavily influenced by punk. Armed with guitar, bass, banjo and some times a washboard they’re making their way to any place that might give this band of misfits a shot!

2024 was a breakout year for MARBLE QUEEN - a name that's appropriately derived from a plant, considering this first outing is all about growth. From track one where the Goose. produced "Smooth" paints a picture of someone taking a chance on a new relationship after getting out of a toxic one, and seeing that relationship blossom through the lyrics of "REST"; to the allowance of vulnerability on songs like "Deserve" and "SAY"- both of which outline abuse in one way or another whether that be thru the lens of the former where the pain is more external, to the latter where it's more mental and made to seem like the abuse itself is love; landing down to the final finishers of "Everything Stays" (collectively produced by TANGERINE., Kam Kozart & ESXXR TXNY of TCS) - a gentle reminder that change is ok and of course "SHINE" which essentially is a scream of victory to the mountain tops. Regardless of what your favorite track is on this project that creeps just over 15 minutes, the message is loud and clear: Wake up! The Queen has arrived!
