When I first entered the wine industry one of my wine works goals was to lead a panel at the Food + Wine Classic in Aspen. I’ve been a subscriber to the magazine for over two decades and the third weekend in June was always on my radar. It was my father who cultivated my love of food and the art of gastronomy even when these words weren’t in the lexicon for many as they are today.
Look at God. Here we are today and I’m en route to lead not one, but TWO panels in Aspen.
Let the wine fun commence:
* Friday: 3:00pm and Sunday: 10:00am
Snack Attack: FIne Wine Meets Crunchy Cravings with, Erik Segelbaum (). When I first presented the idea of how I like to present wine in a fun and informative way I knew we need a snack panel. Salty, sweet, and savory snacks sare all in the lineup. I want to thank the wine partners because the lineup is stellar. A few of the snacks are plain Lay’s and Combos.
* Saturday: 3:00pm
Ladies First: A Toast to Women Winemakers. And don’t think I am not coming out to Queen Latifah’s hit “Ladies First.” Women have been at the forefront of wine for centuries and I am here to celebrate them. I’m also honored that Bibiana Gonzalez ( |) of Cattleya and Alma de Cattleya will be joining me to walk us through two of her wines.
A big thank you to , , and for having me.
I can’t wait to give big hugs to colleagues, geek out with some of my favorite wine and chef folks, and make new memories.
