(Police are searching for a 30-year-old mother of two who has been missing since last week.

Ashley Elkins was reported missing by her family on Friday,, after she failed to return home or respond to repeated phone calls and text messages.

According to her mother, she made multiple attempts to contact Ashley, only to receive one brief text message from Ashley’s phone, stating that she was
“heading back from a beauty supply store.”

According to her family, Ashley’s phone pinged at a Roseville address, where family members say her ex-boyfriend lives.

Investigators have confirmed that Elkins was last seen on Thursday, January 2, in southeast Warren before heading to Roseville that afternoon.

Since then, there has been no direct communication from her. She is described as a Black female, approximately 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighing around
150 pounds.

Detectives have spoken with several of Elkins’ family members and friends, reviewed surveillance footage from local businesses, and used digital forensics to piece together her recent movements. The Warren Police Department is coordinating with Roseville Police and other agencies to determine her whereabouts, police said in a news release.
