In Colorado we have a lot of hiking trails and open spaces. 🏔️

On my daily walk on the trail in our neighborhood, when I’m headed south I can see Pike’s Peak. When I’m headed back north I can see Red Rocks Amphitheater. 🎸

Quick trip to Wyoming. 🤠

I wasn’t expecting much from the capital city of Cheyenne……and it met expectations! 😂

It’s Wyoming most populous city with a whopping 65,000 residents. 😲

That’s about the size of Carmel, Indiana. 🌽

But fun to say we’ve been there! ⛰️

Next year will be my 40th year on the radio. 😲👴🏻

This Sunday is the 100th year on the radio for one of the stations I’m still on. 📻🎙️

I love living in Colorado. 🏔️

I just filled out my ballot for early voting. 🗳️

Every year we have some wilderness-related issues to vote on. A couple of years ago we all voted on wolves. 🐺

This year we had to vote on the hunting of mountain lions, bobcats and lynx. 🐆

For the record, I’m generally not in favor of killing a mountain lion unless it’s trying to kill you. 😲

We never had ballot measures like this in Indiana! 🌽

Anybody here affiliated with the Indiana Department of Agriculture or Indiana Department of Natural Resources? 🌽🌲

My daughter is currently in a Masters Program in Botany at Purdue and would love to talk with anyone about potential employment opportunities. 🎓

She would love to start networking now to explore future possibilities. 👩‍🏫

The lovely Mrs. O’Brien and I celebrated on anniversary weekend in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. 🎊🎉

We visited Strawberry Park Hot Springs, Fish Creek Falls, Rabbit Ears Pass and the Farmers Market in town. 🏔️

We even had a bear p**p on the front steps of our condo on our first night - a little anniversary gift! 🎁😂

The fall colors in the mountains are beautiful, not as much red and orange as the Midwest gets, but the yellow Aspens are so vibrant. 🍁🍂

We do miss so much about Indiana but we’re very lucky to be able to explore this amazing state that we’ve called home for the past five years. ❤️

How is that not the first thing out of your mouth when you meet someone new? I’ve know the guy for a while and had no idea! 😯
