UPDATE ON ZARA:
Yesterday 01/03 we spoke to the detective handling our case before we left the station I told him I have a feeling that these people that stole Zara will contact us again and of course I was right because these people have no shame up till now they actually believe that they had the right to steal our puppy using a gun to my husband just because the first puppy (Shihtzu) they bought from us had an ear infection. We never denied or disregarded that the puppy they bought from us could have possibly had an ear infection. But what we don't understand is why they were asking us for thousands of dollars for an ear infection.

Below is a picture of a text message from them this is what the message says 'The truth is I don't care if you have it or not, because as you could see we also have money, we spent a thousand dollars in Orlando and they told us that the hospitalization costs 2 thousand dollars if you want, you go with us and we take you to the hospital and you pay and with great pleasure we will return your dog'

So according to the Jaramillo couple they paid thousands of dollars to the vet in Orlando Paws & Claws and that's what they want us to pay for them to return Zara. The pictures below are screenshots of the vet visit these photos are directly from them.

12/02 - Diagnosis: Ear infection Cost $219.40
- f***l tested negative for intestinal parasites
- Ear cleaning
- Prescribed medicine for infection

12/13 - Diagnosis: Suspect Toxicity Exposure
(Ma*****na 2nd hand smoke) Cost $161.50
The Shihtzu puppy was very lethargic and very sleepy written from the vet. These are signs that the puppy is high.

The total in vet visits $380.90 so I don't know why they said they paid $1000 and that there's $2000 more for hospitalization when the vet confirmed with us that they were never quoted for anything that amount.

I'm not sure if someone is explaining these results to them because it seems like they don't even understand what is written on the paper. How can they possibly think we are responsible for the second visit when they got the poor puppy high. Isn't this consider as animal cruelty? I hope we can get both these puppies back soon. They do not deserve to have a puppy.

UPDATE ON ZARA: These are the people that took her and I'm glad they admitted they stole Zara our teacup Yorkie. They obviously don't know how much a teacup Yorkie weighs at 8 weeks old. I don't know where they got that she's 4 months old. And do you honestly think my husband would let you guys take Zara if your husband didn't show him his gun? You guys keep saying about the ear infection but why did you send us a pre-invoice for the intoxication on 12/13 and not the ear infection vet bill for 12/02? Why did you say he needed a $2000-$3000 surgery but couldn't show us any proof? Even your vet Paws and Claws said they never quoted you a surgery for $2000. This is the reason we gave up talking to these people because we can never get anywhere with them they just keep lying over and over again. But I'm glad they clarified to everyone that they did steal Zara from my husband at 12/29.

On December 29, 2024 Sunday at 6:30pm my husband was robbed at Enchanted Castle parking lot in Lombard. They stole our puppy Zara a teacup female Yorkie.

The young couple known as Frank and Johana Gomez-Jaramillo planned this crime set us up pretending they are buying another puppy from us. We always meet at a local police station but since they spoke Spanish the same language as my husband he was comfortable meeting up in a public place. They bought their first puppy from us on November 29, 2024. We didn't know it was the same person since they used a different phone number. They purchased a male Shih tzu. On December 2, 2024 they brought the puppy to Florida and told us that they took him to the vet and he has an ear infection and they were accusing us of so many other things about the puppy that we sold them a very 'sick puppy'. When we asked for proof from the vet so we can confirm they had nothing to show us and after that they were still harassing us through calls and messages asking to give them money so we decided to block them.

December 13, 2024 they brought the Shih tzu puppy back to the same vet In Florida for urgent care. According to Paws and Claws Veterinary Clinic in Clermont, FL the diagnosis was INTOXICATION meaning the puppy ingested something poisonous.

On December 13 is when they also started messaging us using a different number to ask about our puppies. They would send us messages every week and finally on December 29 they said they are ready to pick up the male Shih tzu. After a couple minutes he changed his mind and said his wife (Johana) didn't like the male Shih tzu and they want Zara the female Yorkie. My husband was going to meet them at 3pm but he changed the time to 6pm of course he didn't want to do it in broad daylight. When my husband arrived he told him to come by where he is by Smokes Palace next to Enchanted Castle In Lombard. He (Frank) made a little girl come out age around 6-7yrs old and the girl took the puppy from my husband and went inside the car as my husband was getting the food and vaccination records of the puppy inside the car the guy (Frank) came out of his car and started being rude to my husband. He kept telling my husband that we are acting stupid so my husband knew that this person didn't come in peace and that he has bad intentions. He kept telling my husband that he didn't want to do this but because we blocked him that he needs to do this which is to steal our puppy. My husband told him he will give him a refund for the Shih tzu male puppy that they bought on Nov 29 even without showing us any proof that something was wrong with the puppy. He (Frank) told my husband leave it as is and showed my husband his gun so my husband decided to leave as he was thinking of the little girl in the car that will get involved if he tried to still fight him.

After they stole our puppy that same night at 7:58pm they sent us a message saying 'Are we going to solve this in a good way or do you want me to sue you and sue your page?' At this point we were at lost of how these couple thinks. This is exactly why we didn't want to speak to them and blocked them in the beginning because we don't need to entertain people that lies. He stole our puppy, pulled out a gun to my husband, clearly committed a crime and he threatened to sue us? He didn't stop messaging us all night because they probably figured out the trouble they got theirselves in. He (Frank) said he was not interested in Zara the teacup Yorkie that he stole and that he doesn't even have the space for her but he needed to keep her so that we can pay him for whatever was needed to be done with his Shih Tzu puppy. We told him we offered him a refund for his male Shih tzu already and he refused. He said he doesn't want a refund and that he wanted us to fix his dog that need $2000-$3000 surgery. So we told him we don't even know what is going on with the Shih tzu puppy because they couldn't show us any proof. He kept messaging us and sending us voice messages the same night of the crime. My husband played it cool and was responding back to them trying to figure out what they want because they didn't stop even after they already stole Zara the yorkie. The wife (Johana) called us and she said that they want us to just pay for the bill on December 13, 2024 from Paws & Claws Veterinary Clinic and they will return the puppy that they stole from us the next day at a police station. We told them send us the bill and we will confirm with the vet. As seen on the pictures below they sent us a PRE-INVOICE. We told them this is not a receipt and that we need the actual receipt. The wife (Johana) said she will send us everything tomorrow morning.

The morning of December 30, 2024 we waited for the paperworks that she said she was going to send us but she never did. Around 2pm they messaged us and sent us a different clinic Blue Sky Puppies Orlando and the husband said they cannot give us the records today and we would have to wait till tomorrow. We already knew that they were lying because we already called Paws & Claws Veterinary Clinic from the invoice they sent us and the Vet told us the first visit on 12/02 was just an ear infection and they just cleaned his ears and gave him medication but according to the couple (Frank and Johana) the puppy had so many issues that he could have died from and that he was a very sick puppy and that is the reason why they stole Zara the Yorkie because we sold them a very sick puppy and we blocked them after. We blocked them because they were harassing us and accusing us of things and when asked to show proof they couldn't show anything up till now they still couldn't show any type of records and we all know it's very easy to get records if you actually have them. Second visit with Paws & Claws at 12/13 the diagnosis was Intoxication we asked the vet if they treated the puppy and paid for what was on the invoice that they sent us the vet said no they refused treatment for the puppy and just decided to give him fluids. Vet also told us that the couple (Frank and Johana) called them 1hr ago to ask for full records but again as seen on our messages they never sent us any type of documentations. When we told the couple that we have gotten in contact with the vet in Florida already and told them everything the vet told us he said that we were making stories up and he got mad and said I thought we agreed to meet for them to give back the puppy they stole and that we will pay them the money that was on the Pre-invoice. We were trying to keep things cool because we were worried about Zara (Yorkie) she barely weighs 2lbs and they didn't even know what type of food she was eating and we were scared that she will be put in so much stress that she could have a hypoglycemia attack so that's why we were still trying to see if we can get her back but at this point we decided not to respond to them anymore and move forward with whatever we need to do because just like in the beginning they're full of lies. The husband (Frank) immediately got pi**ed off when we stopped responding to them. He kept sending messages and voice messages but we were done being in contact with them we will now let the authorities handle the situation. Sadly around 6:26pm on December 30, 2024 he messaged us again saying Zara (the puppy they stole) is 'throwing up parvo' clearly doesn't know what he's talking about because you don't throw up Parvo. He even said we told him we gave the puppy Parvo shots when we never even got a chance to speak to him about her records cause they stole her. I immediately called the officer that was handling our case if they can do something about it because if it's true what he says we need to act fast and we want to be able to save Zaras life and get her treated right away if she was having a hypoglycemia attack. The officer suggested for me to ask them to drop off the puppy to the Lombard police station and we will pick it up. We told them we will not have any direct contact with them and if they don't want to make the situation worst we suggest for them to bring her back so we can do what we need to do for her as the owner. They never brought her back and they didn't respond to our last message. We are hoping and praying that nothing bad happened to Zara. The Lombard police department is now working on our case and we will make sure these people are held accountable.
