Thanks for the fun times tonight.

Thanks for such a fun season. The future is bright and as a lifelong fan I’m genuinely excited about next season. Thanks for 2024.

My mom dug up one of my old Christmas lists I sent Santa (circa 1983) and texted it to me.

1. First, the balls on my 8 year old self to ask for the entire Star Wars toy line.

2. Not sure why I wanted a “Radio Tape Cuset”, but Santa probably didn’t bring it due to the vague nature of the request.

3. Honestly the VCR was for the entire family. Even at 8 I was a giver.

4. I don’t know or remember what the “missile force train” was but it sounds amazing and I want it.

5. And finally 41 years later Santa delivered the “Dragon Fly” G.I. Joe Helicopter. Some things are worth the wait. (See second picture)

The 3rd picture is just pure awesomeness.

Honestly if given a choice in the entirety of the Green Lantern Corps I’d take the Green Lantern that looks like a sick puffer fish or that one that looks like a head of cabbage before I’d take John Stewart… he’s right behind me isn’t he?

Sometimes even the good guys win. Every week Adam Rose and I would spend too much money at Golden Apple on comics. Now he’s there making me buy HIS comic. So proud of you buddy.

Just about 20 years ago I was part of something truly special. “Just For Laughs” wasn’t just a comedy festival, it was THE comedy festival. If you were a young comic in the 90’s/2000’s there was one thing you wanted on your resume, “JFL New Faces of Comedy”. I was fortunate enough to be 1 of 20 “new faces” of comedy selected in 2004 in the entire world. It was a pretty special achievement and one that I’ll always carry with me through the ups and downs of this business. I know I rarely take the time to look back at things I’ve accomplished because, unfortunately I tend to obsess about the things I haven’t achieved. However, two decades later it’s nice to glance back appreciate something I worked hard for and actually got.

Oops we did it again.

This has been quite a 72 hours. Thursday night , Friday Disneyland w/ Jacob Patrick, Saturday w/ Jerry Rocha and Saturday night and at the w/ Gabriela Zamora. Now in the words of the late, great Forrest Gump, “I’m pretty tired, think I’ll go home now.”
