My favorite daughter surprised me with a barn quilt license plate frame today! Thanks, Sarah Hacker. (The almond joy ice cream and Marco's pizza for lunch were delicious!)

Our next barn quilt painting class is coming up Saturday, July 9 and Sunday, July 10 from 11am to 4 pm each day. It will be held at The MarketPlace Adairsville, 6194 JFH Pkwy, Adairsville, GA 30103
The cost is $90 and includes everything you'll need to paint & finish a 2'X2' barn quilt.
Pick a pattern from the 8 shown here (please excuse the crooked photos). Then, it's up to you to choose the colors you want to use.
Notice, the photos show each barn quilt hung square (regular) and on pointe (diagonally).
Classes are limited to 6 students. The class begins promptly at 11 am, and you may stay until 4pm. Your choice of pattern and colors need to be turned in at least 3 days prior to the class date.
Come into the store and we will help you with any questions or call and speak to Sherry at 770.769.4031 or 770.548.5720.
You may also schedule a private class for 2 to 6 people on dates of your choice, no extra charge.
Soft drinks, water, and a coffee bar are also provided. Bring any snacks you might need or want to share with the group!

The second barn quilt, for the front of our store, was finished up today. Now I need to find someone with a lift to hang them.

A new friend showed me this barn quilt pattern. I looked it up on Pinterest and found there are barn quilt patterns for all 50 states, thanks to a lady in Nebraska. I tweeked the pattern so I could add it to a vintage screen door I have.
Love it!!
Stay tuned...I may use more screen doors for barn quilts! I've collected several over the years!! 😉

Finished a 4'x4' this week. Planning on making another, similar to this, to hang on either side of the sign on the front of our store. Will give a nice pop of color!

Finished a couple more barn quilts recently. I remember now how much I enjoyed painting them! Working on more, may even have a "How to Paint a Barn Quilt" class in our store!
The peacock barn quilt was given to a local antique mall, Peacock Junction.
The other, was just for fun and is for sale!!
