when we put out our birdhouses a few years ago, we installed them so that vines could grow around them and shelter them a bit more. Every year we have plenty of residents occupying all of our houses and they are in view of the kitchen window, 4-season porch and deck. we love co-existing with nature.🐦🌿🐦🌿🐦

Yes, you have to look close within the blown up close up to see the tiny red frog that was at the base of the tree while I was trimming back weeds. He froze, hoping I wouldn't see him...saw him when he jumped... nature abounds on the farm

Finally! The day has arrived! We've had our tickets for, literally, months. The Vincent van Gogh Immersion Experience... we just finished and I must say AH-MAZ-ING!!!

this is Rex. he is my lone survivor. my flock was once quite large but an over-abundance of predators all but decimated my flock. we're on the hunt for a couple of new girlfriends for Rex. let us know if you have any candidates to fill his lonely days.

The variations of color on one hydrangea is always so interesting to me.

the butterfly bushes are in full bloom on the farm. cross-pollination over the last few years have produced side by side bushes that range from deep, dark purple blooms and these lavender-leaning-toward-pink blooms that were gracefully dancing on the afternoon breezes.
