Bill is having a blast hosting SkiREIA in Park City, Utah. It has snowed every day, dumping fresh powder on the slopes and he is loving it!
He is staying in a lovely lodge in the ‘ski-in’ Village, and though his room has a fireplace, it doesn’t work. Nor does the heat in the room. Bless his heart, he has worn every bit of clothing he brought, plus his parka, while in the room. But he is a guy and he doesn’t care. He just wants to ski. Me on the other hand, I would be switching rooms!
He and several other guys talk real estate during lunch on the slopes, but skiing has been priority!
Hey folks, some sad news. Our good friend, Larry Harbolt, one of the good guys, passed away today.
I met Larry in the late 90s at a Jack Miller seminar. He took me under his wing. While mercilessly picking on me, he shared so many great real estate investing lessons.
Larry was a man among men. A tough son of a bitch. He claimed to have been a pipe fitter out of Chicago. When he stood with his arms crossed across his chest, he looked more like a Mafia Don or a championship wrestler.
He ran the Monday Night Meeting in St. Pete for more than 20 years. At the start of each meeting, when advising folks to follow the Golden Rule, he'd say, "...and if you're here to rip somebody off, take your s**t and get out!" You gotta love a guy who speaks his mind.
Lord knows how many real estate investing classes Larry taught over the years. It was in the thousands. He help so many investors learn to be better investors...including this hombre.
Some of the times I laughed the hardest is when I was at Larry's Monday Night Meeting with my buddies Nick Burbee and Glenn Hartmann.
We'll miss you lots, Larry!!!

Wow, what a wonderful weekend we had with our friends at the Power of Options Seminar this past weekend.
Such an incredible group of people came to sunny Tampa or joined in on Zoom to learn about the powerful Options deal-structuring tool.
There was a lot of love, laughter, and learning ~ not to mention, NETWORKING!!! ~ and Bill and I had so much fun hanging with you all.
