Hey Everyone:

After a terrific Fourth of July Weekend in Chicago, we’re beyond excited for The Hold Steady’s Positive Jam Festival happening in less than a month at Arrowood Farms in Accord, NY on Saturday, August 5, and Prelims Pool Party the day prior on August 4 at Inness, also in Accord.

We realize some people may be thrown off by the Accord, NY location for the event, but trust us this is an amazing site with a farm, food trucks, a craft brewery and distillery all on site, along with ample parking for the event. To make life easier for folks who might be traveling in or coming up from NYC, we’ve partnered with Brooklyn Bowl to have a party bus transport fans from Brooklyn to Arrowood Farms, roundtrip.

And as a bonus, if you purchase the festival + bus ticket, you'll have early bird access to the Massive Nights 2023 fan presale.

Here’s how it works:
Mid-morning departure from Brooklyn Bowl, 61 Wythe Ave., Brooklyn
Arrival at Arrowood Farms at approximately 1pm
The festival doors open at Noon, with a DJ starting shortly after and the first live music at 130pm. The festival ends at 930pm.
The bus would depart Arrowood Farms approximately 20 minutes after the conclusion of the festival, to arrive back in Brooklyn by 12:30am.

Tickets:
The bus ticket will be $55 per person
There is a special offer of $155 for festival + bus ticket, which is a 20% discount off of the festival ticket price.
The other VIP options for tickets are available, with $55 added on to ride the bus.

Extra bonus: The Hoxton Hotel and the Wythe Hotel in Brooklyn are each offering a discount for staying there ahead of and after the festival. Both are less than a two minutes walk to the bus stop at Brooklyn Bowl.

Where is Accord, NY?

Arrowood Farms is approximately 2.5 hours drive north of NYC.

Where can we stay?
There are lots of places to stay in and around Accord. Besides AirBnB options, there are a number of great places to stay all less than 45 minutes away. Camping, lodges, hotels, cities, you name it. New Paltz (university town) is 25 minutes away and Kingston is 30 minutes away. Woodstock is 45 minutes away. Beautiful countryside with lots to explore. When does the Positive Jam Festival start?
Doors open at 12 Noon. Music begins at 1pm with a DJ and the first act plays at 1:45pm. The festival will be finished at 9:30pm.

What's the line-up?
The Hold Steady is playing a full set, headlining the day. The rest of the day features sets from Guided By Voices, The Tallest Man On Earth, Laura Stevenson, I Get Wild (plays Talking Heads) and Oceanator.

Can kids come?
Yes! Arrowood Farms is all ages. Children under 10 don't need a ticket. 10 and up will require a ticket to the festival.

What's the Friday Pool Party?
The Hold Steady will be hosting a Prelims Pool Party at the nearby Inness Resort. This will take place Friday, August 4 from 5-8pm. The Hold Steady will be doing a special storytellers live performance. You can also swim, play lawn games, mingle with other members of The Unified Scene. Food and beverages will be available. An exclusive THS beach towel is included with your ticket. All tickets for the pool party must be purchased in combination with a festival ticket.
