Public Service Announcement πŸ“’

πŸ“£ Public Safety Announcement

The Absecon Police Department reminds all residents of the importance of having clearly visible house numbers affixed to both your mailbox and home.

In emergencies, every second counts. Well-marked house numbers help first responders locate your residence quickly. Here are a few helpful tips:

Ensure your house numbers are:
βœ”οΈ At least 4 inches tall and in a contrasting color to the background.
βœ”οΈ Visible from the street, especially at night.
βœ”οΈ Not obstructed by trees, bushes, or decorations.

If you have a mailbox, make sure your house number is clearly displayed on both sides.

Taking these simple steps could make all the difference in an emergency. Thank you for your cooperation in helping us serve the community effectively and efficiently!

Today, I had the privilege of being sworn in for another term to serve my beloved hometown of Absecon. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to our residents for their trust in me to be their representative. I promise to uphold that trust. A special thank you to my friend Joe Giralo, Atlantic County Clerk for administering my oath of office.

While our official City Council Re-Organization meeting is set for tomorrow, I unfortunately will be unable to attend. Tomorrow I will be traveling to our nation’s capital as I have the honor of serving on President Trump's Inauguration Committee.

I would also like to extend my congratulations to Mayor Marrone and Councilwoman Evans as they prepare to officially take office. It was a privilege to run alongside them both, and I am excited to serve with them in the future.

Wishing everyone a joyful and prosperous New Year!

Deeply saddened by the loss of Monsignor Coyne πŸ™πŸ»πŸ•ŠοΈ

It is with great sadness and much gratitude for his life and service, that we announce the death of our founding pastor, Monsignor Michael J. Coyne. He was a treasure and inspiration in each of our lives here at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish. Visitation and funeral announcements will be made available as soon as those details are finalized.

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand. Amen.

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord,
and let perpetual light shine upon them.
May the souls of all the faithful departed,
through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
~Amen~
