For those who don’t have the press of AC login. These are my comments quoted in the article .
"I want to make something crystal clear: Absecon is not the place for an out-of-sight, out-of-mind solution to the ongoing homelessness issues that Toms River and Ocean County continually refuses to address," Mayor Tommy Marrone said. "It honestly isn’t fair for those being sent here, or anyone else in our community, to allow other municipalities/counties to take advantage of our municipality by flagrantly violating our laws."
To Mayor Rodrick in Tom’s River "Here in Absecon, we have and will continue to invest the time and resources necessary to tackle this issue," Marrone said. "It is time to clean up your own mess and find reasonable accommodations for your homeless population in reasonable proximity to where they call home."
I will keep good on my promise to fight for our city and advocate for the homeless. Other county’s sending their homeless and most vulnerable here without services is unacceptable.

I had the privilege to coach our Absecon u6 combined teams (the Cheetahs, as the kiddos named the team) against city council. The Cheetahs battled hard and walked away with a big win to end their season! Thanks to Absecon City Council for being good sports! 🐆
Last night Absecon City Council took on Mayor Marrone and his U6 soccer team. The kids took home the victory beating us in a nail-biting finish 6-5.
Already looking forward to the rematch
