Last night we said goodbye to an og member of the kids program who has been with us since the start. Her and her family are moving out of state and we will miss them for sure!

It's that time again! Our monthly Women's Only self defense class and open mat will be this Sunday at 11:00am! This is open to anyone regardless of prior training experience! This class is great if you are interested in learning a bit of self defense from a jiujitsu base, or, if you are a jiujiteiro looking to get some extra training in!

We are at it again with our spring nogi preorder set. We have been working with since day one and they always provide us with some incredible gear. This Sunday at 11:30 is our annual free Women only self defense and open mat class. This is open to all women regardless of experience or ability!

We will have time and space dedicated to open mat training for jiujitsu practitioners and for women wanting to learn jiujitsu based self defense.

We are back with our Women's Only Open Mat. This open mat is set for Sunday, Feb 25th at 11:30 am. This open mat is open to all women from any gym regardless of experience and, women with no experience and looking to see what jiujitsu is all about. Huge congratulations to Ed on his much deserved blue belt promotion last night! At 68 years young Ed is is the perfect example of what Jiujitsu can do for you! Rock on Ed!

Our Women's Only Open Mat is set for this Sunday beginning at 11:30am. All gyms are welcome to come and train! This is open to women who already train jiujitsu and/or, women with no experience and want to see what jiujitsu is all about! Feel free to shoot us a message if you have any questions!

Mat chats are a cornerstone of our kids program. We start and end each class with a mat chat. We discuss technique, how to make the world a better place, and everything in-between. We want to give our kids the space to express themselves, feel heard without Interruption, and be seen.

Forgot to post this last night. The brave souls that ventured out in the snow! I'm loving our all live training format. You can see everyone improving I'm each class!

Small improvements that make a big difference. Just set up this portable changing room. Since the gym is located in a shared space, the only place to change is the bathroom. We listenend to our members and are attempting to provide a private and alternative way to get changed before and after class.

Thanks so much to Jackson and the team for having us out last night! It was great getting to meet new people and train with such an awesome group! We are looking forward to more collaborations together down the line!

We are happy to share that our owner and head instructor Joe will be guest teaching at this Thursday for their 6:00pm class. Joe is excited to share some fun guard passing games and concepts with the Northstar Team!

Our biggest showing at a tournament so far! What a great experience with some amazing people! I'm super proud of everyone who competed and thanks to everyone who came out to show their support! We have one amazing tribe!

We are so excited that last night was our first belt promotions in our kids program. Our kids program has seen several different variations in the past two years and we believe that we have one of the best kids programs out there! These kids have all worked there butts off for the past year (or two) to get to this promotion. We are super proud of them and looking forward to many more promotions with the rest of our kids!
