In an emergency, time is of the essence. Pennsylvania offers two programs that help first responders collect vital information after a traffic crash or emergency.

Placing a Yellow Dot decal in your vehicle's rear window alerts first responders to check your glove compartment for a booklet. You'll have the option to include information about medical conditions, allergies, emergency contact info and more. Learn more and request your kit at https://www.pa.gov/services/penndot/sign-up-for-the-yellow-dot-safety-program.html.

By keeping up-to-date emergency contact information in our system, you'll be giving law enforcement the ability to quickly reach someone who will speak for you if ever you cannot speak for yourself. Learn more and submit your information here: https://www.pa.gov/services/dmv/update-emergency-contact-information.html.

SEPTA’s third-party contractor will be working on both the inbound and outbound platforms at the Glenside Regional Rail Station. Crews will be demolishing the portion of platforms in place between the top of the stairwells and at the end of the bridge deck over Easton Rd (see orange area in the map below).

Due to concerns that the work on the topside of the bridge deck could generate construction debris below the bridge, flagging a single lane of traffic is required as a safety precaution. These restrictions will be in place starting Monday, April 7 through Friday, April 18 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. with no weekend work.

All Regional Rail service will operate as normal weekdays during this scheduled work.

We must ensure that no matter what corner of PA you live in, be it the wealthiest of neighborhoods or the seemingly most forgotten, whether you come from resource or have nothing, that your liberties and freedoms are protected. That your very innocence is not a substance or afterthought to your wealth, but your innocence is presumed and defended. I’m calling on my and colleagues, as well as the Office of the Governor of Pennsylvania to invest in PA’s Indigent Defense Advisory Commission. We must adequately fund the defense of the innocent.

The fact that it has become a standard for our childcare providers to be paid less than a livable wage, no wonder they are leaving in droves. If we don’t do something to stop this, early education WILL SUFFER making our children to fall further & further behind.
