🌎Get Ready to Dig into Earth Day 2024 with Sustain Abingdon! 🌎

Join us for a day of celebration and education as we delve into the wonders of Soil & Land at our Earth Day event on Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 9:00am – 1:00pm at the Fields-Penn House (Abingdon Visitor Center).

This year, we're bringing the dirt on dirt straight to you with exciting activities and learning opportunities for the whole family.

Here's what you can expect:
🌱 Educational exhibit booths from green organizations and local businesses
🍔 Delicious bites from food trucks and fresh finds from farmers' market vendors
🎶 Live performances to keep the vibes lively
👧👦 Kids' zone packed with hands-on activities, games, arts & crafts, face painting, and FREE popcorn
💧 Pre-register for your very own rain barrel to conserve water in style
🥫 👟Donate 2 cans of food or gently used shoes for those in need and receive a FREE gift (while supplies last)
♻️ Free recycling drop off at the Abingdon, Virginia Police Department parking lot
🐾 Pet supplies collection for our furry friends in need at the Abingdon, Virginia Police Department parking lot
