GIA ( Ghanaians in America) was created to help each other, and also connect as many people to Ghanaian specific/ related resources to lighten the process of of assimilation. Aim: Helping Ghanaians in America to help themselves by providing opportunities for Networking and growth experiences that will enable as many Ghanaian families become independent, self-sufficient, and confident. To support each other and to bring greater self-worth and greater happiness as Ghanaians as a whole

Objective:
1.To Empower and Support the less privileged Ghanaians, newly arrived Ghanaian families in America, through networking, education and resource pulling.
2. Mentor newly settled families, women, youth and spread our Ghanaian roots across families who have intermarried with American natives
3. Platforms to share financial independence, legal information, immigration assistance, socio - economic resources and medical advice/information. RULES:
