Happy Lunar New Year 🧧 🧧 🍊 🍊 everyone!

Today is the International Day Of Sign Languages. I was born profoundly deaf on the earth. During my growing-up childhood life, I have always struggled with spoken and written English languages. Yet I didn’t understand anything at all. I felt something was missing in my life. We were forced to speak and listen in the deaf school in Singapore. But not all are successful till today. I picked up sign language in the later age. I realised sign language is my true deaf identity and it is part of the deaf culture. Sign language is another language, not a language specially for the deaf community. Anyone can learn sign language just like foreign languages. Happy International Week Of The Deaf People!

I wear something obvious on both ears. People nowadays look at them curiously. They think it is a cool trend. They are a pair of hearing aids specially designed for the deaf community.

They benefit our lives by listening to different sounds, recognising sounds and appreciating sounds. They improve my life by learning to speak and listen to people.

It is helpful especially for emergency sounds such as car honking sounds and bike sounds whenever i am in a pedestrian area.

Listening to music relaxes my life in the Spotify app with the help of Bluetooth.

If not for the hearing aids, I can’t imagine what it is like to live in a silent world for 24 hours daily.

Just sold my first nft last week! It opened my eyes to the nft world!

I finally have completed my first traditional mural project after 10 days of stress and sweat from the beginning to the end. The mural was delayed for 6 months because of the covid restrictions. Thank you Singapore Community Arts Network and Dignity Kitchen for giving me a chance to display my artistic talents through mural illustration. Thank you Master Mr Yip for guiding me all the way and I have learnt ropes and tips from him. Thank you my dear two volunteers from Zhonghua Secondary School for their help.

I am happy to have conducted my first virtual workshop for the twenty-eight Ministry of Education (MOE) and the four Singapore Art Museum (SAM) attendees today. It is a nice compliment from MOE and SAM that I taught the course well.

Pitched to the client based on the client's preference. Though the pitch is rejected, it is still a good experience for me and I am still learning how to make the winning illustrated pitching deck. I have to stand strong and positive at all times.
