Had a wonderful time celebrating Children’s Day at Gek Poh! It was lovely meeting so many families enjoying the afternoon together. The kids told me their favorite part was the Bouncy Castle, and their smiles were priceless! We also gave away toys to add some extra joy to their day. Looking forward to meeting even more families and children at today’s event at Teban Gardens! See you there!

Ayer Rajah residents can now easily reach the Jurong Lake Gardens with the newly opened Jurong Town Hall Park Connector, just 3km away, about 13 mins on bike. We were thrilled to have 25 families join us to plant trees along the PCN, contributing to a greener community. A special thank you to Minister Desmond Lee for being part of this meaningful event!

House visits at Pandan Gardens and took the opportunity personally thank residents for their patience and understanding during this Repair and Renovation project. The noise and dust have been challenging, and Town Council has requested contractors to do their best to minimize. The good news is the project is nearing completion in the coming months and some areas such as the linkway already completed. In the meantime, feel free to provide feedback or raise any queries with West Coast Town Council.

Continued outreach to households at Pandan Gardens as part of our Care Bag initiative to support residents with daily household items and ease the cost of living.

Conducted home visits at Teban Gardens Block 60 and received valuable feedback about estate matters, including concerns about the flooring and water splashing during heavy rain at the void deck.

I'm pleased to share that West Coast Town Council will begin the flooring renovation this week, with completion expected by the end of October. HDB is also studying the possibility of installing a screen to shield against rain and will provide an update soon. Thank you for your patience and continued support.

We had a wonderful time celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival with residents and friends at Pandan Gardens. Thank you to Minister Desmond Lee for joining us. Joined the Mobile Groceries initiative with South West CDC and volunteers from Hao Ren Hao Shi 好人好事, You(th) Can Do It, and Nanyang Polytechnic to distribute groceries at Gek Poh North. Small acts can make a difference—great to see the enthusiasm among the volunteers!

Visited stallholders and shops at Teban Gardens and Gek Poh Shopping Centre to hear their feedback on the business environment. I also took the opportunity to express my gratitude for their support of Ayer Rajah-Gek Poh’s local assistance programmes for vulnerable residents. I am deeply appreciative of the generous contributions made by our local business partners towards our community. Thank you for helping to make Ayer Rajah-Gek Poh a better home for all!

An enjoyable estate walkabout at Gek Poh North. Couldn't help but marvel at the impressive Sky Corridor and the Jurong Region Line MRT structure under construction. Treated myself to a delicious bowl of wanton noodles at Blk 276. Great to connect with residents and shopkeepers in the area!

We had a fantastic time at the PAssion community arts event, where residents of all ages came together to enjoy vibrant dances, lively drumming, and creative arts and crafts. It was inspiring to see recycled materials transformed into beautiful handbags, coasters, and thoughtful gifts. A true celebration of creativity and sustainability in our community!

Blessings to all residents! We had the honour of welcoming Lord Ganesha at our constituency in Pandan Gardens on his actual birthday, making the occasion even more auspicious. It was a joy to see our Hindu residents gather and other community members join in during the annual Lord Krishnan Chariot Procession to receive blessings. Thank you for sharing in this special moment!

Mid-Autumn festive mood is in the air! It was wonderful to be around Teban Gardens, sharing festive cheer with lanterns for the kids and mooncakes for all. Celebrated my mum’s birthday a bit early, enjoying precious moments together. I always wish for more time with her. Wishing her a year filled with joy, peace, and great health. Happy Birthday, Mum! ❤️

Attended the Sunday breakfast with the Senior Friendship Circle. It’s amazing to see how much this community has grown over the years, expanding into new activities and interests, and bringing seniors together. Delighted to give away freshly arrived mooncakes to everyone in anticipation of the mid-autumn festival, thanks to South West CDC for the contribution.

A heartfelt thank you to 裕益社中元会 leadership for organizing a lovely getai lunch for our seniors and sharing well wishes through hong baos as part of the Lunar 7th Month event. It was wonderful to see the strong spirit of community at this event.

Met Madam Zaharah during house visits at Gek Poh North this week. She shared a heartfelt book she wrote in memory of her late husband. An amazing lady, maintains a beautiful home and has created a welcoming corner outside her flat for everyone to enjoy. Positive messages all around her place like “This is Our Happy Place” and “To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow.” Truly a pleasure to connect with inspiring residents like her in my everyday work across the constituency. Thank you Madam Zaharah for sharing ❤️

Good news! Blocks 752-761 & 764-766 at Jurong West Street 74 have been selected for the Home Improvement Programme (HIP).

A key highlight of this project is the new enhanced Corrosion Resistant Repair method for spalling concrete in toilets, which greatly reduces the likelihood of spalling concrete recurring at the same spot. HDB is working on the tender and more details will be shared once ready. Stay tuned for more information on this exciting development!

I want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the incredible volunteers at TOUCH Young Arrows. Your dedication to supporting our children’s social, emotional, and educational growth every Saturday is truly inspiring.

Many of you were once participants, and now you’re giving back, helping the next generation thrive. Over the past 10 years, our partnership has led to successive cohorts of children graduating from the program. We now have over 60 students at our Ayer Rajah and Gek Poh locations, with space to onboard more. If you know of anyone interested in joining, please let us know.

My husband has always been a steadfast supporter of my role as an MP. He quietly contributes to my work from behind the scenes. I am delighted to have a picture that encapsulates our special moment at the National Day celebrations at Pandan Gardens!

Over 2.4 million Singaporeans will receive $200 to $400 in September as part of the Government's Assurance Package to ease the impact of inflation. Our Care Bag initiative has been ongoing to further support Ayer Rajah-Gek Poh residents, and will continue until all HDB households are reached. As we can only serve selected clusters during each distribution, we appreciate your patience and understanding.

Had a wonderful long weekend celebrating National Day! This year's National Day Parade at the Padang was truly spectacular. Also joined the celebrations at Star Vista by South West CDC and at Ayer Rajah CC by Galilee Church.
