Born in England, Nigel originally pursued a career in Engineering qualifying as an aircraft design engineer in late 1981. He then moved on into nuclear engineering and eventually found himself more interested in the computers and software applications than the job itself. He moved into the booming IT sector and spent the next 20 years in a number of companies ranging from pre-IPO start-ups to blue chips like GE and IBM and in roles from technical specialist to sales and business management. In 2001 he made a life changing decision to get out of the IT sector and start his own business in the area of leadership development and coaching.
The rest, as they say, is history. Nigel is now a recognised leader is his field, has numerous articles and two major books, Ask Leadership and Live Life Now, in print. He has coached at all levels in companies ranging from small and medium sized enterprises right up to major fortune 500 companies. His experience has also taken him from working with front line supervisors to the most experienced CEO's in over 20 countries.
In addition to coaching and facilitating service excellence, personal and organizational development, he has also developed a considerable reputation as a powerful motivational speaker working with professionals, companies and athletes. He is as happy with a group of 3 or 4 people as he is on stage with 3 or 4 thousand delivering his electrifying presentations!
His athletic prowess following his life upgrade at 43 as he quit his 50 a day smoking habit is stunning and include
- Half and full marathons – personal bests 1:45 and 3:42
- Comrades ultra marathon (90km) 9:37, 10:18, 10:12
- 100 Mile run 29 hours
- 300 Mile cycle ride 23 hours 13 minutes
- Sprint and Olympic Tri-athlons – personal bests 1:22 and 2:51
- Ironman Tri-athlon – 12:54
- Multi discipline races – 2 day races Run, Cycle and Kayak
- Transatlantic sailing crossing 2019
- Single handed Caribbean South to North sail 2024
He is clearly very driven and goal oriented and consequently has a very busy life as CMO of Ask Leadership Ltd, and as a musician, photographer, adventurer, sailor, ultra-marathon runner, Ironman tri-athlete.

Brian J. Roush learned from an early age the importance of making relationships. Growing up as a 'military brat,' he was never in one place for too long. So, he learned to make friends everywhere he went, Pennsylvania, Hawaii, Virginia, and even London, England! Some of these friendships are still held today.

Later in life, fueled by his passion for people, he dove into the hospitality industry - focusing on restaurant management. Drive and enthusiasm drove him into the small business world in 2016 when he and his partner opened a marketing & technology agency.

Knowing his strengths in networking, he started a new venture, guiding others in building their own circle of influence as a marketing business consultant. He is operating a non profit, DAP2.org, geared to help single dads.

Brian enjoys spending time with his son - Jackson and the puppers, Rocco & Rissa - at the local metro-parks hiking, camping, kayaking and anything that involves the outside!
