🇲🇹 Hekk kif wasalna fi tmiem din il-kampanja elettorali, nixtieq nirringrazzja lil dawk kollha li magħhom għext dawn il-ġranet. Kienet kampanja ta’ sodisfazzjon kbir għalija fejn matul il-homevisits smajt ħafna kliem ta' tifħir għal ħidma tal-Kunsill f'din il-leġislatura. Smajt, tgħallimt u qsamt l-opinjonijiet tiegħi dwar x’għandhom ikunu l-prijoritajiet il-ġodda ta’ kunsill ġdid.

👊 Kien privileġġ kbir għalija li servejt bħala Sindku matul dawn l-ħames snin. Nixtieq ngħid grazzi lil Viċi-Sindku Franco Ciangura, sħabi Kunsilliera Teddy Saliba, Stephen Mercieca u Larry Buttigieg. Grazzi kbira tmur għas-Segretarju Eżekkutiv Lucienne Haber fejn bl-għajnuna tal-istaff Mariella Theuma u Joseph Ciantar ħdima sabiex akwistajna rekord ta' fondi li ssarfu f'proġetti u attivitajiet għal Għajnsielem.

🙏Grazzi u awguri lil kandidati kollha li qed jikkontestaw din l-elezzjoni - Joe Debono, Teddy Saliba, Stephen Mercieca, Aurelio Bugeja mal-PN kif ukoll Larry Buttigieg, Marlene Muscat, Terry Portelli u Silvano Spiteri mal-PL. Żgur li min se jkun elett se jkompli jaħdem għal Għajnsielem li tant inħobbu.

💙 Fl-aħħar nett ngħid grazzi lil dawk kollha li b'xi mod jew ieħor emmnu fija matul dawn il-ħames snin kif ukoll il-familja tiegħi b’mod partikolari marti lil marti Stellies.

🇬🇧 Now that the local council election campaign has come to an end, I would like to thank all those who supported me during these few weeks. It was a campaign filled with personal satisfaction especially during the house visits where many residents appreciated the work that our Local Council did during these 5 years. I learnt, listened and shared ideas on what should the priorities for the local council legislature.

👊 As a Mayor, it was a privilege to serve in the local council during these five years. A special thanks goes to Deputy Mayor Franco Ciangura, councilors Teddy Saliba, Stephen Mercieca and Larry Buttigieg. We managed to get a record amount of funds thanks to the superb work of our Executive Secretary Lucianne Haber and her team Mariella Theuma and Joseph Ciantar. A special thanks also goes to all our Coucil workers who worked hard to ensure that our locality is a better place to live in.

🙏 I also want to thank all candidates taking part in this local council election including Joe Debono, Teddy Saliba, Stephen Mercieca, Aurelio Bugeja from PN and Larry Buttigieg, Marlene Muscat, Terry Portelli and Silvano Spiteri from PL. I am sure that whoever is elected will work hard for Għajnsielem.

💙 Finally I would like to thank all those who supported me during these five years especially my family and in particular my wife Stellies.

👉 With your vote on Saturday, I will work hard with more energy and determination to ensure that l achieve 𝙈𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙮𝙤𝙪 and 𝙈𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙂𝙝𝙖𝙟𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙢.

You will find me in the streets, near the school, at the local council office, clubs, elderly, children and families. I will be there for you, to listen and assist whilst working to offer 𝙈𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙮𝙤𝙪 and 𝙈𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙂𝙝𝙖𝙟𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙢. 👊🩵

🔹️ 11.00am inauguration of Bocci Pitch
🔸️ 5.00pm - Inauguration of Pjazza Tolfa followed by Italian night with music and children's attractions from 6pm till 9pm.
🔹️Tommorow Sunday morning - Car boot toys sale in front of clubs in aid of children in need.
