We the young people is at the point that we need to stand up and be the change maker. It is time to advocate, demonstrate nationalism, innovation, creativity, enthusiasm and unity in recreating a different path for our beloved country.
Liberia has been recognize from the beginning of independence to being the oldest independence country in Africa but yet still seen as the poorest, lawless, most literacy, poor governance, bad decision making ETC.
It is embedded or intitled unto we the young generations to change these narrative to a better Liberia of possibilities, creativity, Good governance, decent Leader, wise decision maker, and law abiding citizen, as we begin making our plans this year, let us all remember Liberia our mother land in all we do because Liberia is and will always be where we call home. As our old people says "there is nowhere like home" and I do believe because no matter where we go Liberia will always be attached to us because it is in our veins and blood, handed down to us by our great Grand parents and that of our mother and father.
We should not only be nationalistic but also teach the younger generation the importance of nationalism and the effects it has on the country and it's people, let us enlightened the younger generation on the possibilities of recreating a better image for our beloved mama Liberia.
People of D #9 and Liberia, let us all remember love and honesty is all we need to see the dawning of a new Liberia.
With God's blessings and our dedication, we can make Liberia a country full of creativity and innovation because I believe in the younger generation and youthful populace, I believe in their youthful and impactful ideas and it is our responsibility to make these ideas a better and prosperous one.
May our good God help us achieve our goals for this year and make us to always remember Liberia and our future generations in all we do.
Happy new year people of D #9 and Liberia.

A research done thus far has revealed that the so called rescue representatives did not declare their assets upon setting on January 15, 2024. Whereas the Code of Conduct provides that ever lawmakers should declare his/her assets to the Chief Clerk on the first day of their sitting, and the so called rescue representatives refused to do so, we see this as a complete violation of their "accountability" platform. Not just that, but their cosmetic refusal not to reconcile their district in time, has created uncertainty on their leadership ability. In so doing, the political satellite of Liberia has deemed it expedient to embark on unspecified actions beginning tomorrow to ensure that those Lawmakers declares their assets, reconcile their districts and cautions them to languish from making major decisions at Capitol Building without consultation with their constituents.

Tomorrow we move!!!

Prince toe, ALL Lawmakers took oath and were inducted into office on January 15, 2024. Up to now you declared assets yet. Section 10.1 says, “Every public official shall declare assets and liabilities prior to taking office.” you promised our PEOPLE to do this.
Remember you was the same person that was calling Hon Acarous Moses Gray a corrupt man, but you are here going against what you said.

Martin K. N. Kollie you know is actually a surprise seeing comrade like martin kollie referring to yekeh kolubah statement as unnecessary one. Am also out of words when I hear martin kollie saying that yekeh kolubah ways of advocacy is amateur, so if you refer to yekeh kolubah advocacy as amateur than how will you refer to your toothless advocacy or so call addressing national issues. Just so you know the same way we supported you when you was consider as amateur politician is the same way we going to support yekeh kolubah, just so you know in no condition you can be like yekeh kolubah or think you can present issues better than him. You are just a mere boy in the political circle but if you don't know your boundaries than you will fall very quickly.

US Presidential Candidate Rollan Roberts speaks on sanctions against Liberian officials

FULL TEXT OF STATEMENT:

America's systematic, institutional, abusive corruption continues this time with the targeting of the struggling African nation of Liberia.

Just last week, the United States sanctioned several Liberian officials, one of whom was Liberia's Finance Minister, Samuel Tweah.

The sanctions against the individuals include a lifetime ban for them and all family members of traveling to the United States and a lifetime ban on using the U.S. (global) financial banking system.

What corruption did they commit so heinous worthy of destroying their lives and that of their families? The Liberian Finance Minister favored the Liberian company, ArcelorMittal Limited (AML), for a national contract over an American company, High Power Exploration, Inc. (HPX), and prevented HPX from using the rail in Liberia to move their product to Guinea. So because the Liberian Finance Minister favored a Liberian enterprise over a foreign enterprise, we must ruin their lives and make an example out of them for future governments to do what we say, award contracts to whom we say, and bow to the whims and wishes of the foreign power whether it is in your nation's best interest of not. While the message was sent, I can assure you it was not well received by Liberians in or out of Liberia.

My office was contacted by angry Liberian-Americans that hold dual citizenship ready to renounce their hard-earned U.S. citizenship over the blatant corruption and greed displayed by these unwarranted sanctions. They are embarrassed to be Americans on this day.

As I have said before, in today's world, sanctions are not an effective tool. The U.S. dollar does not have the power it once had, and the growth and dependence on other currencies and alliances (BRICS) further demean and erode the effectiveness of sanctions. It simply drives business, finance, trade, goodwill, and social capital away from t
