Embracing Courage and Resilience:
The Path to Success
Some individuals simply aren't meant to live a life of mediocrity and comfort.
There are those of us who possess the bravery to be disliked, uncomfortable, self-reliant, and genuine.
There are those of us who are destined to take risks, set lofty goals, embrace sacrifice, and trust in our inherent abilities. We don't fear loss or failure. We either "think big" or "go home."
We don't agonize over critics' opinions or stress about severing ties behind us. There's no point in dwelling on others' fears, as retreat is not in our nature!
When skeptics express their views on our endeavors, we understand that their opinions aren't facts.
We recognize that opinion represents the most basic form of knowledge and, in most cases, simply reveals the character of the person expressing it. It's their deficiency in courage, not ours.
Why do I succeed?
I succeed because I'm prepared to do what you won't.
I'll battle against all odds.
I'll make sacrifices.
I'm not held back by fear, insecurity, or doubt.
I experience those emotions, but I consume them and banish them to the depths of darkness.
I'm driven by achievement, not pride. Pride devours the weak and destroys their spirit from within.
If I fall… I will rise.
If I am defeated… I will come back.
I will never cease improving.
I will never surrender… EVER.
That is why I succeed…
Words are often inexpensive, primarily because their supply typically surpasses their demand. Perhaps talkers possess greater eloquence than doers, but that's only because talking is their forte.
Doers understand that the worth of any idea lies in its implementation, not just in its conception or discussion.
We can't transform ourselves with mere words and pledges. There must be some struggle and sacrifice to achieve success. After all, we are both the raw material and the artisan shaping our own transformation.
All defeats, like all victories, require your active involvement.
