We're thrilled to share the latest developments from Youth Dream for Constructive Achievement (YDCA), where every effort is aimed at making a positive impact on the lives of Vulnerable Children, At-Risk Youth, Marginalized Women and Girls in Liberia.

Here's a snapshot of our recent endeavors:
Menstrual Cup Distribution and Education: At YDCA, we are committed to ending period poverty In Liberia. We have successfully distributed hundreds of menstrual cups to women and girls, providing a sustainable and cost-effective solution for them. Our outreach extends beyond distribution, as we actively educate women and girls on hygiene and menstruation, fostering a healthier and more informed community.

Teenage Pregnancy and Child Marriage Prevention Campaign:
YDCA is dedicated to creating awareness and fostering change. Through an impactful awareness campaign in five communities in Liberia, we've addressed the critical issues of teenage pregnancy and child marriage.

The awareness campaign had a significant positive impact on both communities and their members. Through town hall meetings, we were able to engage community leaders, parents, and young individuals in open dialogues regarding the pressing issues of teenage pregnancy and child marriage. By engaging parents and the community at large, we aim to break the cycle and educate on the profound effects of these challenges.

Their physical, emotional, and social....

Teenage pregnancy and child marriage are major challenges that affect millions of girls worldwide, particularly in developing counties. These issues are not only detrimental to the health and well-being of young girls but also long-term consequences for their families, communities, and nation.

To address these challenges, we have launched a campaign aimed at raising awareness and promoting education and on the prevention of teenage pregnancy and child marriage among parents, teachers, community & traditional leaders and districts government officials as well as empowering young girls with knowledge and resources to make informed decisions about their sexual and reproductive health and rights.

Menstruation can be a challenging time for many women and girls, especially those who do not have access to menstrual products. We support women and girls during this time with menstrual cups, which are reusable and eco-friendly to break the barriers.

We also provide education and guidance on using and caring for the menstrual cups. The distribution is ongoing and we were able to reach many women and girls who were grateful for this support.

YDCA strives to eradicate period poverty and stigma by educating communities as well provides reusable menstrual cups to end period poverty of women and girls in Liberia.

Period poverty affects women and girls who don't have access to the safe, hygienic menstrual products they need in Liberia. Our team is now out in the field to achieve the project goal through community education, local capacity-building, strengthening community participation, and adopting the product in their local setting.

We are bridging the gap between menstruation, education, environment in Liberia. Girls can now go to school while on their period. This reusable menstrual cup helps to save money and it is environmentally friendly.

Glad to begin the year with a refresher training meant to remind ourselves about community outreach. We will continue to engage the community giving out free of charge Saalt reusable menstrual cup to end period poverty of women and girls in Liberia.
