This is a vivid analysis of my song titled "Down Waterside."

The title "Down Waterside" was thoughtfully chosen to represent a prestigious commercial and market center in Monrovia, Liberia. This location serves as a vibrant meeting point for people from across Montserrado County and beyond, facilitating interactions among local and international businesses. By selecting this title, I aim to evoke the essence of a place where diverse voices converge, reflecting the themes of my song.

In "Down Waterside," I deliver a powerful message over a captivating drill beat. The song expresses the frustrations faced by those who deal with gossipers and haters who continuously spread negativity about them.

In the opening verse, I make it clear that I have witnessed numerous challenges ("I na see plenty things with my eyeboy") and have endured relentless "mouth pressure." I assert that, despite the adversities we face, nothing should shake our determination. Instead of engaging with these detractors, we should choose to rise above their negativity. I boldly encourage them to carry their heavy burdens and "put it Down Waterside"—a metaphor for taking their troubles elsewhere, suggesting that anyone at the market might pick them up. This sentiment is relatable to society in general.
