Lovely photo shared by Folk in a Field Festival from when we danced there this summer!

Starting TOMORROW, 24th September, our new beginners term begins!
We'll teach you the basics over 6 weeks, and then develop you into improvers for 6 weeks after that, which will take us all the way up to the Christmas break!
Come try out our dance style, which is based on folkloric dance forms from Northern Africa, the Middle East, India, and a touch of Latin influence to name a few. Discover interesting world music and experience expression through connection as we dance primarily with each other and for each other before anything else. With a system based on improvised group choreography you'll be dancing with others in no time at all simply by following along!
Classes are on Tuesdays 7-8pm at Limelight Studios Norwich (113 Aylsham Road, NR3 2HY) - there is a car park, toilets, and a mirrored hall. Wear comfy clothes you can easily raise your arms in, and soft, flat, un-grippy shoes (or accept that a pair of socks will get dusty - bare feet not encouraged). You may also like to wear a sash or something around your waist just to bring you awareness about your hips, but this isn't necessary, just fun.
All genders, sizes, and abilities welcome! If you can step in time while moving your arms you're already half way there!
