A busy weekend but a great break Sunday afternoon Mike Lovatt at Gorleston.
Well, that's it - the final gig of the year is done and dusted. A very happy Christmas to all my band/orchestra friends, I'm looking forward to another year of playing (if you'll have me!) and hopefully a few more gigs as well. If you're reading this it's probably because you know me - so in that case, Friend, Musician, "nodding acquaintance" - I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Healthy and Peaceful New Year.

What a busy, hot, weekend that was! - but also a fun playing weekend with a couple of serious moments.
Friday evening - Bugle for a Memorial and Commemoration at Shipdham Airfield: A wartime base for the Americans. We had a Spitfire flyover!
Saturday evening - A "Sunset Ceremony" for The Spirit of Coltishall Association. (RAF)
Sunday afternoon - Playing with my Quintet at the fabulous Waterloo Park, Norwich.

The Wensum Valley Brass Quintet will be playing in Waterloo Park, 12:00 - 2:00 on September 10th.
Bring a chair or blanket, perhaps a snack from the cafe on site and enjoy two hours of varied, light music. We'd love to see you there.

WVBQ are a local group to Norwich.
We rehearse on alternate Mondays at St Cuthberts Church in Sprowston and play at gigs across Norfolk and Suffolk.
